Stub stands and preparation pods

Micro to Nano EM-Tec preparation pods and SEM stub stands provide convenient preparation pods and stands designed for secure handling of SEM stubs and to avoid confusion when preparing multiple SEM stubs. A preparation pod enables pin stubs to be held in the correct position when applying the specimen to the stub.  For JEOL and Hitachi cylinder stubs the EM-Tec stub stands provide a way to handle and transport multiple stubs.

EM-Tec SEM stub stands are also excellent for storing SEM stubs and/or SEM holders in a desiccator or other storage locations.

EM-Tec preparation pods are made from hard anodised aluminum and available in two types:

• EM-Tec PrepPod horizontal stand for 11 standard pin stubs
• EM-Tec multi-angle PrepPod stand for horizontal, 45° and 90° pin stubs

EM-Tec SEM stub stands are made from clean aluminium and available for all types of SEM stubs:
