Bacterial Counting
Bacterial counting can be a challenging and time consuming process, often relying upon culturing overnight on plates or inaccurate OD600 measurements. Problems arise when bacteria cannot be cultured in this way, which is sadly all too common.
Logos Biosystems have developed the QUANTOM TX to overcome these challenges. It is an image based platform that allows total and viable counts to be obtained directly from samples without the need to culture.
