Silicone moulds for metallographic embedding

Micro-Tec blue silicone embedding moulds are used for metallographic embedding with cold embedding resins. The multi-use blue silicone does not adhere to embedding resins and does not require a releasing agent. This is ideal for porous samples to avoid contamination with mould release. The flexible silicone moulds allow for easy removal of the hardened mounts.

Available moulds:

• Micro-Tec MC25 for Ø 25mm metallographic mounts, inside dimensions are Ø 25 x 18mm.
• Micro-Tec MC30 for Ø 30mm metallographic mounts, inside dimensions are Ø 30 x 18mm.
• Micro-Tec MC40 for Ø 40mm metallographic mounts, inside dimensions are Ø 40 x 25mm.
• Micro-Tec MC75 for 70×50 mm large rectangular metallographic mounts with inside dimensions of 75 x 50 x 20mm.
