Membrane boxes

Micro-Tec plastic membrane boxes comprise a two-part polystyrene box with thin micro-porous polyurethane membranes in both top and base to keep your specimens and parts safely suspended in air between the two membranes. The membranes are surprisingly strong and elastic and are partly moulded around the object to keep it safe. Care should be taken with objects with sharp edges and needle points which can potentially damage the membrane.

The useful membrane area is somewhat smaller than the box dimensions. Select a size such that the part or specimen will easily fit into the box: see dimensions in the specifications table below.
