DiATOME ultra 45 diamond knives
The DiATOME ultra 45° range of diamond knives are recommended for routine ultrathin sectioning at ambient temperatures. Using the highest quality diamonds and optimal knife edge orientation, the ultra 45° guarantees perfect ultrathin sections and a durable edge. The horizontally mounted boat ensures complete filling with water and optimum ease of section pick-up.
DiATOME ultra 45° are available in 1.5mm to 4.0mm knife edge lengths. The ultra Jumbo 45° diamond knives have larger boats for serial sectioning applications.
A resharpening service is provided for all DiATOME ultra 45° knives based on knife edge length. Please see our resharpening page for further details.
